Hi, I've started home preschool for my three year old and I am new to homeschooling. We are doing great with everything so far except I am struggling with finding social groups for free play. I have her in several classes like ballet and gymnastics, and she will be starting a soccer class in a couple months and she really enjoys those, but I think she is really missing out on free play with kids her own age. Does anyone have any suggestions where I can find a play group or something where she can just play with kids and make friends? I am a member of my local mom's club but it is very poorly organized and I've tried going to events but I can't seem to meet anyone and they really only seem to cater to those in the group who already know each other. I have social anxiety so that adds another layer of difficulty for me but I am doing my best because I know how important it is for my daughter, I just don't know where to find these groups. We are looking for something secular so church groups are not really something we are interested in. I've tried just going to the park but I'd really like a group with the same kids that meets regularly. I don't know how to find this outside of sending her to preschool. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
