That’s the Worst!
Being a parent is such an amazing and reflective thing for me. I waited 17 years with my husband before we decided to get pregnant and I can say, I have a lot of respect for parents and everything they do for their kids. Every sacrifice, every hard night, every complicated question, and all of the hard work. Some of the things are easier than I thought, like sticking to a routine, and some of the things are harder than I thought, like transitioning through stages of eating foods. I am a chef and I thought that I would be so excited and inspired making his food and transitioning to solids. But I am having a hard time figuring it out. In the back of my mind I fantasize about a time where I can just make us all the same food and put a plate in front of him. I know it’s not going to be that easy.
What are your thoughts? What task or stage was easier and what was hardest? How did you cope?
