Is baby teething?

I hate that I can’t tell. But my usually happy baby has been becoming fussier with each growing day. His gums have been white for a while now, but I don’t see anything trying to pop through just yet. But just today he’s been extremely fussy and super sleepy, which is not like him and I’ve noticed his cheeks are starting to get really rosey. Is this teething or could it be something else? He will be six months this week￼

Teething for my son appeared as super red cheeks (sometimes just one side depending which side had tooth activity). A lot of chewing on hands or anything they can get their hands on. Excessive dribbling. 
My nephew got loose poos with his teething which led to a sore bum. 
I used Aston and Parsons teething powder. It really helped ease my sons pain. We tried the teething gel but it did nothing for him. 
You can try frozen fruit put into a holdable dummy type thing for them. They sell them on amazon it is for weaning children. Theres something called biccie pegs (not sure if that is how you spell it) which is for them to chew on. Or any teething toy really. 
My son would wake up at night in pain as night time the pain is felt more due to being more relaxed but if your baby is sleeping ok through it well done! 
Got to give things a go to see what works for your little one if they get quite upset and in pain with it.
