How long is too long to wait for a missed miscarriage?

I was told 7 weeks ago that I have a missed miscarriage. I found out at 8 weeks and measured at only 6 weeks. I haven't had any cramping or spotting. I've had 4 ultrasounds and 3 blood tests over the last 7 weeks so it's definitely a miscarriage but I'm getting worried it's been so long. My doctor didn't seem worried about infection since it was a blighted ovum.

That’s about the longest I’ve waited. I had a great experience with a d&c. It was very very similar to passing naturally for me, maybe even a little easier. I do NOT recommend the misoprostol pill! By far wooorsssst mc. D&c was very quick too, I felt great after. Husband and I even went out to dinner after. Minimal spotting for a few days then just picked up like a period.

7 weeks would honestly probably be the max. I really wouldnt wait any longer. Id call and ask to have a d&c immediately
