“Look at how ugly your face is”

My husband just told our 2 year old (25 months), “look at how ugly your face is” because she’s been crying for 20 minutes. I tried to nurse her to sleep for 40 minutes but she wouldn’t fall asleep so now she’s crying because she doesn’t get to have mamas boobs (2 week old sister needs them). She’s still crying. I don’t know how to help her stop but what my husband said made me upset.
