Too cliché?

My husband and I are expecting a daughter in June and we’ve decided to name her …. June. I’m due in the middle of June so unless she comes almost 3 weeks early or 2 weeks late, she will be a June baby.

We’re a little on the fence about it as we think people may think it’s tacky, lazy, cliche etc. Wanted to see what others think. Is naming your baby after their birth month cliche.

I think it's beautiful! People don't normally know or acknowledge when someones birthday is unless they're close. So most people won't even know.

Maybe have 3 more names picked out and whatever name fits her when you see her that could possibly be her name.Like she comes and you say oh “Evelyn Grace” or Oh Madelyn Michelle, or Oh Emily Rose”. Don’t mind me I’m just talking. It’s your choice do what you would like to with your child. Just make sure your happy with your choice for your child. I know some times kids are mean and make fun of kids.🥰

I love the name June and considered it for my daughter! Also along with Juniper or Juni.. However my daughter was born at the start of July so that kinda killed that theme for me. I think it makes perfect sense for a child born in June to be called June and it's beautiful connotations of summer and also it's just a beautiful word. Basically for me, I would use it for either a June baby (cus it makes sense) or a baby born August -April (because it's far enough away to also make sense). I just wouldn't personally use it for a May or July baby because it would feel like it's just like a little off or "not quite right" and like the baby was supposed to come in June but was either early or late.

I think June is a beautiful name! I would definitely use it, regardless of her birth month. I wouldn’t think you were being lazy or a cliche, June is a sweet classic/vintage baby name, a sophisticated choice!! Congratulations on your baby girl :)
