Won't express feelings

So I just started dating a new man a few weeks ago and he's not good at expressing his feelings (he's great in every other aspect) and honestly it kind of bothers me because I'm not used to that at all. When I express my feelings to him he just says thank you or something similar and it's starting to make me feel clingy I guess or overbearing. I'm falling for him and honestly I don't want to say I love you to him because I'm so scared he won't feel the same way or won't express it to me if he does. I don't know how to deal with his lack of emotions.. How do you deal with someone who isn't good at expressing their feelings? Re
