Ectopic pregnancy?

Da

Hey guys,

Been ttc since January and just have not had any luck whatsoever. Got period of 11/27 and was ready for last cycle of 2023. Well, day four into bleeding I got my first positive. I don’t think it was a period but me stopping progesterone for my cycle to come since at 12dpo pregnancy test was negative.

Tests were getting lighter so booked my first hcg and it was 18 on 12/01 and got another on 12/05 and it was 11. Lines were getting even lighter so I suspected it was a chemical. When I thought I was pregnant I started progesterone up again since my progesterone was basically at zero. Started bleeding on December 8th. So, thinking this is my period I started my baseline test for my new cycle. I was at peak and I’m like that isn’t right. So, I did pregnancy test hadn’t done one since before the December bleeding started. There was a faint line again. I’m like okay must just still be in my system.

I did a few more pregnancy tests over the next couple days and they were getting darker instead of lighter like before. I got another HCG pull on 12/15 - 10 days after the last that was at 11 and now it was at 22. I couldn’t get back in until 12/19 and that one came in at 63. I went to see my obgyn 12/20 the dates do not make sense. I’m too early for an ultrasound they said. I asked them if they could try to see if anything in my fallopian tubes and said no it’s too early. Went in for bloodwork again on 12/20 and my hcg was at 80. I need to go in today for another HCG pull today to see true 48 doubling or not. I suspect that will be no.

Any other experiences like this? Was it viable? Was it a twin scenario where one vanished? Was it ectopic? A chemical or just a loss. I just want to know what’s going on either way. I hate the waiting and not knowing what’s going on.
