Okay ladies, I’m at a loss and feeling very defeated. I am currently 7 weeks postpartum and my bleeding/spotting has only stopped for maybe two days total. I went through all the stages from bright red to brown to a light cream color and now it’s back bright red and brown. I told my doctor at my 6 week follow up, she did an ultrasound to make sure there was nothing retained, but she said everything looked great and cleared me for full activity. She did tell me to go ahead and start the mini pill and return to her office in two weeks if the bleeding has not completely resolved. I just don’t know if this is normal or if I should have even started the mini pill before the bleeding had completely stopped…has anyone else bled this long? I don’t know if I can mentally handle spotting for much longer.
