So I have a bulging disc in my lower back that’s pressing on my nerves so I’m having tingling and numbness in my right leg and foot. This started in September of 23 and I have been in physical therapy and had an MRI to pinpoint the issue and I just recently had an epidural/steroid shot to numb the nerves from pain.

So I guess my question is has anyone else had this bad of a bulging disc in there back?? And if so did they have to preform surgery or did your epidural shots work??

If the next couple rounds of shots don’t work my only option left is surgery and they said sometimes the surgery doesn’t work and that it could make my pain worse.
