Failed Glucose Test but no GD?

I just found out I failed my 1 hour glucose test. They are having me come back in next week to do a 3 hour one. My results were 154 but the highest end of normal is 135. Has anyone had this happen and then tested normal or just ended up not having Gestational Diabetes on the 3 hour? I’m so nervous and trying not to freak out. I’m 24+5 and the test was done yesterday.

Plenty of people fail the one hour and pass the three hour, which is why the three hour test exists. If everyone who failed the one hour had GD there would be no need to do the 3 hour.

Yes I failed the one hour with my 2nd and the 3 hr was fine 😊

Yep! It’s common to fail the one hour and go on to pass the 3 hour test. I did in my first pregnancy.
