FWB…how does this work?

Ok so I’ve slept with 4 men but never had a FWB. First one was a BOYFRIEND of 10 years who just never wanted to marry me. Second guy was a guy I dated for 6 months and led me on. Third was a guy I dated. Fourth is now a guy who is my FWB. I’m starting to believe this isn’t for me and it’s only been once that I’ve had sex.

I don’t know the protocol lol. Like do you only contact them when you’re horny? Do you go get food together? We went to eat and he paid for me.

We expressed mutual attraction and one thing led to other. He keeps texting me like “good morning”

“How was your day” and stuff. It’s not everyday but rather every other day.

So we were sexting and he told me he couldn’t stop looking at me when I went over his house. We had sex 1 week ago at his place and yea he kept starring at me while I watched tv and randomly touch my nose in a playful way. Honestly when he texts me I feel like he wants to ask me to come over but he doesn’t. We literally just talk. He has told me like 3 times he thinks I’m very pretty and enjoy my company! We have only had sex once.

I went to go visit my newborn niece and posted on Instagram. He made a silly comment like “that’s going to be you soon”

I’ve heard people get attached and I’m scared this will lead to one of us catching feelings and getting hurt.
