Midwife or OBGYN

I am an ex L&D nurse as i now work in the public sector ... and i feel like i have a biased perspective on OBGYN and i really want to consider a midwife for my third pregnancy, now that I dont have coworkers to judge my decisions..... iv had very straight forward deliveries with my last 2 kids and i really would like to consider a midwife this time.... would love the good, the bad, and ugly of considering a midwife... give me your thoughts!? TIA
