Was your oldest son jealous about the new baby?

My 7year old son is jealous because he thinks his baby brother is going to be the number 1 in everything what can I do for him not to feel like that but he has a sister already but he did not felt like that when she was born.

Try to have as much 1 on 1 time with him as
Possible . Also maybe ask him if he wants to help with baby so he doesn’t feel left out. I’m having my 4th boy . I have a 6 year old , 5 year old , and a 2 year-old who will be 3 February 1st , Who I might add is still very much attached to me . So when baby is sleeping I will have to spend as much time with all my boys as much as I can together and individually . It will be hard but we are tough mums . We can make anything happen .

Right now my 7 year old is very excited but he did go through a little bit of jealousy when my daughter was born (he was 3). We did lots of 1:1 time then. It was pretty short lived and now he loves babies.
I’m expecting my daughter to have issues this time around. She has been the ‘baby’ for 4 almost 5 years so we shall see she isn’t as interested in 1:1 time, she wants the whole family to spend time with her all at once. So curious if baby will be included or if she will want family time minus baby.
