I made a post not too long ago saying I was out because of a cesarean section scar ectopic. Since then I’ve seen a MFM specialist who said it was a failed cesarean scar pregnancy, and then days after that my doctor, who was able to find baby with a heartbeat of 119. I’ll be due beginning of September but have baby at the latest, the beginning of august. They didn’t measure baby as I think we were all kind of in shock.

The pregnancy is still attached to my scar, but not embedded in it. So I can continue with the pregnancy with the knowledge of having to have a hysterectomy when I have my C-section. It’s still a high risk pregnancy but I just need prayers that baby stays healthy and continues to grow. 🥹 They said they think I’m around 6 weeks. Which isn’t far off from what I predicted. But where baby is at, and how tilted my uterus is, it’s been VERY difficult to get any kind of images. So this one is abdominal and the best we could get.

Forgive me for asking, but did your MFM confirm what your OB said? We had similar concerns recently and the way it was explained to me was that there are different types of c-section scar pregnancies, but all of them are very high risk and can be devastating for mom and baby as baby grows bigger. I wish you all the best and hope you both stay healthy!🩷

So what my mfm and dr both agreed on is that the pregnancy is right ON the scar, but not embedded IN the scar. So I will have something called placenta accreta or however you spell it. I can’t go into labor. It still can be an emergency situation and it is still high risk. I go back on the 24th to see the mfm. I WILL have to have a hysterectomy when I deliver
