Too faint for 16 dpo?

My period was due 2 days ago. I took this after a 2 hour hold this morning (I had to pee in the middle of the night). This seems way too faint for being 2 days late (16 dpo). I use OPKs to track ovulation and my cycles are regular so I don’t think I would have ovulated late. Anyone have success stories with faint lines like this that go on to be a healthy pregnancy? I feel like this is the kind of line people see at 8 and 9 dpo. We’ve been trying for 2 years and have had 2 losses so I just don’t want to get my hopes up again.

I think you are fine. I see people judging others lines based off what they “think” on here a lot saying it needs to be darker. Each body is unique and it all depends on when you implanted and how much HCG you have, that’s all!

You could have just ovulated later than you expected! That’s what mine looked like at 18 dpo (according to the app) with my second and i just ovulated a week later than i thought. She just measured a week behind at my first appointment. She’s a perfectly healthy 6 year old now!

You.could.have just had a late implantation.and it takes a few days for hcg to be detectable.

I don’t track ovulation but mine looked like this when my period was 4 days late. I’m 12 weeks today! I think it’s positive :)

You also need to count that implantation starts FROM 6 days. You might have ovulated at a normal time but that doesn’t mean you conceived at a normal time xx
