I’m 40+1 today. At my appointment yesterday I was 2-3cm dilated. Lost tons of mucus plug throughout yesterday/ last night. Around 5am this morning I started having contractions consistently coming at 10 mins apart and were moderately painful. Lost a ton more mucus plug that blood tinged. My contraction app told me to start getting prepared to go to the hospital soon. Husband called off work (his leave was supposed to start tomorrow anyways) Then at 7:30am my contractions just stopped. To say I’m pissed is an understatement. I mean what is going on … It’s 10am now and still nothing. I have an induction scheduled in the early hours of Thursday morning and was really hoping to go into labor naturally before then. I’m so annoyed. Why in the world did my body just decide to stop doing it’s job 😭
