Induction vs C-Section

NEITHER! Unless there is a medical reason to. Csections should never be done unless really really necessary. That is a major abdominal surgery and takes a lot longer to recover from. 
Inductions also should only be for medical reason. They are harder on your body and baby. Natural labor and spontaneous is much easier on your body and baby.

I see you’ve said this is medical reasons, I’d choose induction myself. C section are a lot longer recovery. If a vaginal birth is at all possible, I’d go that route!

I chose induction and ended up with a c-section. I wish id waited and gone naturally (doctors said baby was big but she actually wasnt). I recovered really well from c-section, out and about pushingthe pram after four days but the induction was so unnecessary and caused a lot of stress that i wish id waited but i was msde to feel like waiting wasnt a choice

I had an induction but ultimately had an emergency c section. It would have been much better if I gave birth vaginally! Though c sections are done routinely, they are still considered a major surgery. The recovery is rough. I can see it being less traumatic though if it were a scheduled c section instead of an emergency c section. Either way momma, you will be meeting your baby soon! I wish you all the best!
