Husband pushed daughter
For some background, I want to state that my husband and I aren’t doing well in our relationship, meaning we’re in the roommate phase where all we do is take care of the kids and are no longer emotionally/physically connected.
Anyway, as we’re getting ready to brush our daughters teeth, he was putting the paste on the brush and she was standing on a stool leaning on/over him to grab the brush, he shoved her with his elbow hard enough that she fell off the stool and I caught her. She immediately started crying and saying he scared her.
I wanted to scream “get the fuck out” but didn’t want to scare her more. After bed, I confronted him. All he wanted to say was “I told her I was sorry.” Then shut down the conversation and ignored me while I cried.
What would you do? I have an overwhelming urge to leave, it’s just scary to uproot everyone/everything. But my kids safety comes first, I’m just shocked this happened. 😢
*this wasn’t an accident, it was very much intentional *
