Implanon side effects

Kayla

I’ve had my implanon in for a year (this is my 3rd and had no issues until now) in the past 4 months I have had extreme episodes of pain which led me to the ER where they said I have PCOS and give me pain meds and sent me home. Saw my GP and he said the same and told me to take the pain meds (oxy) and to just see him if it gets worse. Well it got worse (migraines, extreme fatigue pain nearly everyday, dizziness, brain fog and cramps all the time) and the bleeding is now nonstop. Went back and then he tells me I should never have had the pain meds (that he agreed too) and that I need to see a gynaecologist. Saw them yesterday and she said I don’t have PCOS, I was misdiagnosed and that my body is reacting badly to the implanon and need it removed and IUD put in. My brain is just in shambles and got no clue what the hell is actually going on. Any guidance?
