We recently booked ourselves in for an early scan at 8 weeks. This is the first baby for both of us and we were excited to see how our little bear was growing. Only to be told at the scan that there was no fetal pole or yolk sac present. To say we were heartbroken was an understatement. We had to have this confirmed at another scan the following day. It was confirmed as missed miscarriage. And now the wait starts for a surgical procedure to remove the pregnancy sac that is still growing.

Feeling totally crushed and just can’t believe this is happening to us.
