Father in law opposed our wedding night before

Hi all,

So I need advice. I relocated my whole life for my fiance in another state. I left all my family and friends and support in another state. I followed my fiance for his career.

His family, friends, career are all here he was born and raised here and I have no one. Fast forward we have been in a ton of arguments up and down but we were planning a wedding and engaged for two years. After our last blowout , his parents said we are toxic (no idea why they have an input) and told him we shouldn’t be together (4 months before the wedding). Keep in mind his dad never brought this up to me only to my fiance.

Fast forward to the night before the wedding at the rehearsal dinner…. His dad who barely knows my family goes up to my mom and says :

“The dad typically gives a blessing at the rehearsal dinner but I don’t bless their marriage I think they shouldn’t be getting married, they need more time” … we’ve been dating for 4 years !!!!

First of all who says that the night before the wedding second of all my parents didn’t even ask about his speech… I’m so hurt as I wish everyone loved me :( I just want acceptance

My mom just now told me this in January bc she didn’t wanna ruin things for us the night before the wedding. My husband still hasn’t said anything to his dad I live in a state where I have no support and our marriage has no support.

I am heartbroken I wish I had another family here and they accepted me. I deserve more than this. I feel ..

What should I do?! :(
