Why is my ex such an asshole?

He screamed at me today because he said I would never date you ever again because you are autistic and no one will have the patience. How am I going to find love now? He never had an issue with my autism before. He has not yelled at me in months. He also said that he didn’t want people thinking I was taking advantage of me by dating me so he was embarrassed. Why is he being discriminatory against me? The thing is,I am so high functioning, that no one could tell and I don’t really have many signs anymore. I was crying when he told me this. I want to find love.
