Would the ER see if I have heart disease?

I went in about a week ago for high blood pressure. They took blood, did an X-ray and EKG and did a test to see if my heart muscles were weak and they said everything looked good. But would they see anything about heart disease?? I’m worried. My legs are sooo swollen. I thought they were swollen from hbp but the meds I’m on aren’t helping the swelling at all. Just helping to bring the hbp. I’m a type one diabetic with very brittle diabetes and have been dealing with hbp for about 3 years now and high cholesterol for way longer. I don’t have money to go see a doctor and have tried getting Medicaid but they keep denying me. And I can’t afford personal insurance
