Should I move back home?
So a few months ago, I moved to New York City from North Carolina, and I left my apartment to move into a shelter…
I know it sounds crazy, but I was just starting over to find something better and get placed here the easy route…
Since I’ve been here things have been, Aggie , people have been in my business doing annually weekly visits inspections every week bed checks you name it.
There’s a curfew here and the rule to leave your kids at home is 18 and my daughter is 13 and I have many times made a store run and let her watch her little brother but here it is different adjusting to it…
my kids were able to get promoted to a higher grade and I’m happy for that accomplishment but I think I’m ready to go back…
I had a three bedroom apartment where I was at and my lights are still on all these months and I think I need to be smart to make a decision or just let it all go .
I still have my apartment and I haven’t closed my lease not to mention my rent was free, but I didn’t like the area or the schools so if I go back, they will have to have homeschooling or I just need to move to a new location while hiding out at my own place & Getting things established .
I also didn’t want my first kids father to know where I live at.
My dad is also sick now and I have to go back to visit him.
just trying to make a smart decision before I go…
really need some motivation and opinions about you guys see from your perspective all that I know that my decision is Mine alone.
I really wanted to do music and make a difference in my life & my kids but I don’t think it’s working out the right way or this way atleast and I don’t want to sacrifice losing my place or putting my life in more shambles.
I have a car, so we definitely can go right back, but I just have to make a decision
Sn: my aunt convinced me to come here, and told me that my life would be way better in New York But ever since I’ve been here, I have barely heard from her, and I have only yet to see her one time in four months…
NEWSFLASH PPL
THE Shelter I’m in works with housing . It’s the cheapest and quickest way to get a place in NYC rather than waitin on section 8. We have a apartment but it’s still considered a shelter. It’s just curfew rules and bs I’m not used to and I’m rdy to go back to Nc granted I’m originally from Newyork & I’m nothing in life is easy. My recent apartment was nothing but drama shooting and chaos.. I don’t have money to move if anyone makes that next statement & again yes I still have my old apartment lease isn’t up until July if I wanna renew
