update on our embryos 🤍

hi everyone just posting a wee update in regard to my last post…the embryologist called us again today, 3 days post egg retrieval. out of our 5 fertilised eggs we now have 2 “good” embryos which have 8 + 9 cells so far, along with 1 slower growing one, he didn’t say how many cells the slow one had but did say that with some luck it could potentially catch up to be like the other 2 by monday (transfer day 🥹) hoping + praying our wee slow bug gives itself a pep talk and catches up so we hopefully can have 3! we’re a bit gutted that 2 didn’t make it past fertilisation as we were off to such a good start with a 100% fertilisation rate but on the same token we are so chuffed to at least have 2 good ones, this is the furthest we’ve ever got so we’re full of hope. now to take it easy and think positive thoughts until monday comes. i’ll update again in due course 🥲
