Thoughts???
There’s a colleague that only prefers to talk to me when we’re passing or via text. My first day back in office she text me and told me all of the tea that happened while I was out of office. I text and asked if she wanted to step off the floor to talk and she said she rather text. 🤔
Last week I sent her a welcome back message and she was asking if she missed anything. I told her we’d talk after work Monday since I had a lot going on over the weekend. Well, she text me Sunday and asked if I could call her today and blah blah blah… I called her shortly after getting the text and she said she rather talk now then at work cause there’s no privacy and she doesn’t want anybody to think that she’s messy or negative 🤔
Ok, I filled her in on what transpired while she was out and she was telling me how one of the office ladies talks about everybody and blah….. Mind you, she talks to that person, I just have a feeling she doesn’t want to talk to me as she doesn’t want them to know that she talks to me and she’s playing both sides. She’ll even avoid eye contact unless we’re passing each other…. I’m an overthinker but I think this is obvious….
A lady was at her desk talking and they seemed to be having a good convo…..

Edit to add*** we were the only 2 left in the office and I told her bye and she acted if she was afraid to say bye 😯
