transfer day update
hi all, had my five day transfer this morning! sadly we probably won’t have our slow growing embryo to freeze, the embryologist doesn’t think it will make it as it’s barely continued to divide since saturday - however we’ve had our best one transferred - graded as being 4aa! they have graded our other one as a 3bb, which is now going on ice and will hopefully make a baby in the future. embryology team are happy about the quality and say that 4aa is one of the best? we don’t know too much about the grading system but are obviously over the moon after hearing this! now to survive for 9 days whilst we wait for our blood test appointment - we are both so apprehensive and anxious as we know the wait will be so hard!!! but i definitely will not be torturing myself with home tests during this time, i have did enough of that the past 3 years 🫠 the consultant said as of today i’ve to treat my body as if i am already pregnant - any further advice on doing this besides avoiding things like raw sushi and mould ripened cheeses/alcohol/excessive caffeine etc? she’s also given me the ok to still exercise but no heavy weights or intense cardio like i am used to… god this wait is going to be the longest 9 days of my life! i have attached a photo of our tiny embryo inside the womb, it’s so weird but i already feel kind of attached! 🥹
