Nexplanon implant renewal

I’ve had my Nexplanon implant in my arm since 2021 and it expires this year in May and I’m renewing that same month (may) that It need to be renewed except I tried to get an earlier appointment which was April but it was to soon so I have one in the middle of that month the 23 , I wanted to know if I have any sex before my appointment like at the beginning of the month the 1st to my appointment date (23rd) will it not work anymore or am I still fine since it’s still in my arm until I get it renewed , I have a 3 year implant I don’t have a 4 or 5 year implant and I checked with my doctor I do have a 3 year implant which is the purpose of renewing it . Anyone have a real answer ? This is very important 😭
