Ovulation test

Ladies I need your expertise. So I am only in day 10 of my cycle and took some ovulation test last month . It said since I have a 23 days cycle to start on day 8 and I did and I got like two lines but one was faded and I tested the next day and was negative so I thought it was a faulty test because years ago when I tracked ovulation I ovulated Kate like four days before my period . Anyway I test once a day for like two weeks and nothing. So this month I started on day 7 and got two lines and one was faded and I have been testing every like 8 hours for 3 days now and I keep getting two lines and one faded . I even put timers on to make sure I haven’t been dipping it too long or checking it too soon or too late . What the heck why 3 days if like half positive when I got the first one this month I thought either I’m gonna ovulatedin like 12 hours and just missed it for positive test or maybe ima little over 48 and it’s showing up already.
