First letrozole cycle 5mg
I ovulate regularly. Ttc and was put on Letrozole for the first time. Not being monitored or anything. I'm only sharing this because I'm sure there are plenty of ladies ttc and doing research for hourssssss like me.
I took my Letrozole at 6 p.m. each day. I was instructed to take my dose CD 3-7.
Here's how it went for me so far and I'll be able to update as time progresses....
CD 3 symptoms: I was extremely tired
CD 4 symptoms: Tired & light cramps maybe from cycle
CD 5 symptoms: Tired, crampy and moody, appetite
CD 6 symptoms: Tired, crampy and moody, appetite
CD 7 symptoms: Tired, crampy, moody, appetite
AFTER 1st round of letrozole
CD 8 symptoms: mild migraine that lasted all day, irritated easily
CD 9 symptoms: gas, mild cramps
CD 10 symptoms: lots of gas and bloat
CD 11 symptoms: bloat, mild gas, and mild cramping & nausea
CD 12 symptoms: digital ovulation test I got a YES
(So exactly 5 days after finishing my first round of letrozole I'm on my way to ovulation)
CD 13 symptoms: OVULATION DAY!!! Confirmed positive opk STRIP and Ovulation digital. So there were really no changes in my ovulation that were major besides 1 day early. My ovulation was painful per usual.
I've always ovulated around CD 14 so it really didn't change anything for me on that tip.
CD 14: mild cramping
CD 15: fatigued maybe from progesterone phase
CD 16: nausea and hot flashes
CD 17: mild cramps and fatigue
CD 18: I had a mild migraine until CD19 morning
CD 19: mild migraine upon waking up eventually faded away.
CD 20: around 4-5a.m. I had some strong cramps to the point I was rolling over in bed and it kept me awake. Cramps are similar to diarrhea cramps but I didn't have to poop. Lasted for maybe an hour.
CD 21: strong wave of nausea to the point I was laying in my bathroom floor for a while. No vomiting. Lasted about 40 mins. I also had slight heartburn
CD 22: Took hpt vvvvvvfl *fingers crossed*
Results from this cycle I had a chemical pregnancy.
I'm on cycle 2 with letrozole now.... I have faith it will work this cycle.
UPDATE.....
CYCLE 2
so far so good. In good spirits. I was prescribed 200mg of progesterone suppositories. Will start those at 3dpo.
🔴Started progesterone suppository 4/11
*Didn't really notice anything because I took it before I went to bed. It indeed made me sleep hard and peaceful fairly quickly. I had verrrryyyy mild cramps.
I also didn't have much discharge I slept with a pantyliner on as instructed.
Also with all this I had a HSG in Dec of 2023. I was already aware that my left tube wasn't long enough to repair during my tubal reversal surgery but... My right one was open and working properly.
Fingers crossed this cycle. I am also updating each day due to the information perhaps becoming helpful to anyone ttc. 🥰✨baby dust to us all!
