Ladies I Need Help!

Okay to make a long story short the 10th of this month I had a miscarriage. I was only 6 weeks and my tests never got super dark meaning my HCG never got very high either (so my doctor says). Well it’s the 12th two days after I ended my period and this pops up instantly. It has color in person and I plan to retest with pink dye tomorrow this one I had left over. Is it normal for HCG to linger like this? My tests were vvvvfl when I started bleeding but this test is a lot darker than those tests. My doctor isn’t concerned considering I’ve bled and should restart my normal cycle but I can’t help but wonder if this is normal or not. Thank you for any advice/input.
