Shampoo for Asian Hair?

So I’ve got straight black thick asian hair and I washed it everyday for years (unless i was staying at home but that was rare) because I hated how oily it gets so quickly. A lot of people told me to stop doing that so I wash it every other day now so like 3 times a week ? but it still gets super oily.

I usually just used Pantene or Elvive or whatever shampoo I can find in the grocery store but can anyone recommend any good shampoos/brands that are good for my hair type/problem????

Ps is it normal for hair to get oily the day after washing it ??
