Does implantation bleeding occur at the same time the egg implants?

I experienced spotting at 11pm on 12dpo and at 8am 13dpo and it was only ever on the toilet paper and only once on each of those days. Spotting for me is something that just doesn’t happen unless something else is going on.

But I guess I’m just trying to figure out if the bleeding happens simultaneously with the act of the egg implanting (which means I need to wait a few days before testing) or can this blood appear after the egg is already implanted (meaning I can test the day after this spotting and expect to see a positive test result)?
