OPK Help?

Question

Can someone explain this. Today is CD16 and been having EWCM for 4 days:
Top test: 2nd pee of the day, 8:15am 
Bottom test: 3rd pee of the day, 9:45am
Last night was a negative opk (7PM). Could it be a false positive? I have never experienced that before if that’s the case..

Recommendation is to test for OPKs from 10am to 8pm. LH starts building throughout the morning, so it’s always better to do the first test late morning, and a second test late afternoon. Also, you are testing too close to each other, you should be testing your urine holding it for 2-3 hours. Otherwise your urine is too diluted. Hope these tips help!! Good luck!!

It’s definitely possible to have a short surge. OPK’s tell you 12-36 hours before you ovulate, so I would start BD!

To update this was now (2 hr hold/no water intake) - so I think I’m surging today and expect my peak tmrw.
