How do I get more confident when giving praise?

So I like being degraded and fucked like I don’t matter and my dom does it so well. But he’s also always worried he went too far so I always make sure to tell him what a good boy he is and how good he makes me feel when we cuddle after and in between sessions. But he says I sound like I’m joking when I say it, I swear I mean it. He does such a good job, I just want him to believe me when I say it. I’m just not used to it. How do I get more confident/comfortable and less awkward when giving praise?
