In need of help!

Hi! Im trying to learn to pleasure myself but I’m too afraid to stick anything up there. I’m also afraid of tampons. I tried putting a tampon but it felt so uncomfortable. Can anyone help or recommend any tips? Thank you to anyone who suggest something.
