Fever killed my supply... Advice?
My baby is 3 weeks old and my milk supply has been great. I could produce around 9oz every pump session. Well on Monday I had a fever of 102. Luckily my mom was over and she and my husband took care of the baby while I spent the day sleeping.
The problem is, ever since then my milk supply has almost completely dried up. It was not a gradual decline but a hard drop. I've only been able to produce about 1-2 oz now. My boobs just aren't filling up with milk anymore and idk what to do about it.
I put my son to my breasts to try and re-stimulate them, I tried pumping more, I bought Liquid IV to improve my electrolytes and nothing. I just produce less and less milk every pump session. I'm practically not producing at all anymore. I don't know why this is happening or how to fix it. I'm completely out of my freezer stash now and will have to start giving him formula in the morning.
Any explanations or advice would be much appreciated
