Still testing positive 4 weeks after miscarriage, help

Hi. I found out I was pregnant beginning of April but sadly had a miscarriage a couple of days before I hit 6 weeks. I had an internal scan which showed no signs of pregnancy so they ruled it as an early miscarriage as all tests were positive even through the hospital and doctors. I went in the week after with bad pain in my right side and heavier bleeding again and they done a CT scan to rule out ectopic. Nothing showed on the scan so they sent me home. The bleeding hasn’t really stopped it’s just tapered off then returned but today 4 weeks after a ‘confirmed’ miscarriage I was bleeding heavier so thought I could be my period so I tested to check if I was testing negative yet but it’s still positive. Could this be my period returning and if so is it normal for a period to return if there’s still enough hcg for a positive pregnancy test? I’m so confused. This test is from today. It’s a very clear positive test.
