Stretchy discharge

I am currently a month out of being off birth control and ttc. I am supposed to be on my period but I am 3 days almost 4 days late. My tests have been negative from what I think. I just need opinions to help easy my mind because I thought this was only supposed to be like this during ovulation. I have never had discharge quite like this and it has been milky white all week
