First time having yeast infection

So i went to urgent care and was given fluconazole (Diflucan). I took the first dose right as i got the medicine. I was wondering how long does it take to start get rid the symptoms?

i feel super itchy down there and I'm so uncomfortable. any tips to help?!

I've been drinking lots of water

making sure I'm dry down there (especially after i pee)

im wearing loose shorts and no undies (so it can get air)

I'm resting and trying not to exercise (that’s how i got it according to the doctor)

i feel like I'm more itchy then this morning
