Ovulation test confusion

I am using ovulation tests for the first time this month. I was using clear blue digital ovulation tests. The first day I used it showed the circle. Second day it showed me the blinking smiley face showing high fertility. It has been 5 days straight of the blinking smiley face. I haven’t gotten the peak fertility results yet. I took a regular strip test this morning to see and it showed it negative. So I’m confused how the clear blue one shows high fertility when the other doesn’t and how it’s been showing this for so long with no actual peak day.
