Glucose test

Well I got my glucose test results this morning and not good. I have gestational diabetes. My 1 hour test was high so they had me come back in for a 3 hour one. Two out of the 4 blood draws came back high. I wasn’t expecting it. I was told it was more common than I thought. I am having to go back in to speak with the doctor about the results and how I’m going to deal with it. I’m not sure if it’s can be treated with just changing my lifestyle or if I’ll have to take medicine. Could I get some advice on how y’all dealt with it?
