What was the hardest transition with number of kids?

Depends on ages honestly. 0-1 for me was easy, I loved kids, we could chill, relax and play. Added a second, although first adjusted fine and was helpful at 27months old (little over 2) getting up in the morning was now harder as getting up in the night with baby and then early morning with first. Always telling first to hold on for something for the baby. Then ya add a third, and my second and third are 16 months apart and that middle child is crazy. Can’t take your eyes off the baby for a second without middle touching. Everyone’s always being told hold on. Someone always needs something. It’s chaos in the young ages but you adapt lol.

1 to 2 was easy but they were 3yrs apart and the second one was planned. 2 to 3 was a damn circus for me but I also got pregnant 9 months postpartum with #2. Unplanned obviously. Now that they’re all older it isn’t so bad (youngest is almost 3).

I think it depends more on age. There's 7.5 years between my first two and that was a doozy 😵‍💫 Thankfully I was able to get my son involved with his sister's care but it was definitely a learning curve. This time though I'm pregnant with a toddler running around so I have no idea what I'm about to face 😂

I agree. I think it depends on ages. I was super young when I had my first.. I’m not old now, but I had a lot more energy lol & it was definitely easier to focus all my attention on just him. I didn’t have my second until my first was 6, so that was a lot more difficult, mainly because I felt like I was starting all over & we also all had to adjust from my oldest being an only child for so long (it was hard for him & us). I say that transition was the most difficult because it felt like the most dramatic shift in our family dynamic. 2-3 was a cake walk. They are 13 months apart, I didn’t feel like I was starting over.. some say it’s harder having them so close in age, but honestly I find it much easier than the 6 year gap.
