Ttc on Letrozle

We’ve been trying for 32 months. My doc realy wanted me to go on birth control but when I brought up clomid and letrozle she change her mind and proscribed letrozle because it works better with PCOS patients. She proscribed 10 days of progesterone, wait for my period then 4 days of letrozle. She gave me 3 cycles worth of letrozle because she’s going on vacation and said I can try 3 cycles or double on my second cycle. What would happen if I just took double my first cycle? Its only a 27.5% chance of getting pregnant on letrozle anyways and emotional I can’t wait 3 cycles to find out none of it worked.

Also has any one had their so take a sperm check test at home and had it come up positive but then a doc said it was a bad test? We’re at 32 months with no answers and I’m starting to think the test my husband took was false positive.
