Anyone ever had a saline ultrasound?
Hi ladies,
After 11 days of spotting, and a few blood tests, my OBGYN suggested scheduling a sonohystogram usualyl, also known as a saline ultrasound. I'm projected to get my period tomorrow - honestly felt like it's started about 100 times thanks to the spotting getting heavier then stopping then starting again. 😵💫 I don't have any worry about it starting today or tomorrow, I know I'm not pregnant this cycle. The spotting was slightly heavier this morning, feeling like it's finally the start of my period. 🤞 Just ready for an actual reason for the bleeding. 😣 They said I should get it scheduled for cycle day 7-12; or pre-ovulation. I know I ovulate late, like cycle day 17-20, so I have a little bit of wiggle room/time to schedule it out but that feels like more time waiting for what's next.
I'm just wondering if anyone has had one, how it went for them and would you say it was painful?
I have so much anxiety about this whole next process of my TTC #2 journey. It's been nearly 10 months of TTC, and I know other women have gone years, but being in this process makes it feel like an eternity when challenges keep arising and all those damn negative tests each month. 😭
Any advice or words of hope or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading my ramble about my current struggles with TTC #2. 💜
