When to allow kissing?

My baby is 5 months and my husband says when she reaches 6 months we have to drop the no kissing boundary. I really don’t like the idea of anyone else besides husband and I to kiss her 😅 like it legit gives me so much anxiety thinking about it. Can anyone else relate and offer advice on how I can overcome being so against it? ☹️

My oldest is 5 and we still don't allow kissing. For us there is no reason to allow family to kiss our kids. They don't need to for any reason. Me and my husband and their siblings will give them kisses but why does aunt laura need to kiss my child?? There are plenty of ways to show affection and even then we have family use consent anf they ask if they can have a hug or whatever and if our kids say no then it's a no. But never understood why family feels the need to kiss kids

We only allow our very close relatives (really only grandparents). And they have to ask our kids first (we started this around 12m old). We did allow top of the head kissing before that. They also know no kissing when feeling sick or if they have a cold sore. 
My family really didn’t have to be told any of this. We had preemies so they all know their health is more unstable than the average baby.

We allow kisses as long as our kids allow it. If they don’t want it then they have to respect their decisions. The only time kissing isn’t allowed is when they are babies. Especially when RSV is a high risk.

Does this need to be a conversation you have with your family? I would never explicitly tell my mom or MIL or anyone “you are now allowed to kiss my baby”
However as the baby gets older, would I make a big deal that my mom kissed the baby’s head? No definitely not.

I love seeing my family kiss my children and my children to kiss them back. They love their family.
