miralax to kickstart labor?

did anyone take miralax or something similar to kickstart labor ? my dr mentioned it and it’s not as drastic as caster oil. *don’t need any comments telling me to wait patiently, thanks tho!

No!!!!! Good grief. 
Baby will come when baby is ready. Don’t be doing detrimental things to your body just to try and get baby to come. It’s not going to work. 
Plus you can use Miralax during pregnancy anyway. So yea definitely not going to do anything.

I did pressure points to induce at 39 weeks with my first and about an hour later I started having contractions and my water broke I used every pressure point I could find and had my husband do it lol…..don’t know if it was a coincidence or what but….

I was encouraged to take castor oil my last pregnancy. Against my better judgement, I took half the recommended dose. I did it twice in 36 hours. I had insanely bad contractions that did not progress my cervix at all. I went to the hospital because I was sure I was in labor. I wasn’t. None of that stuff works.

I took double doses the last two weeks of my pregnancy….to poop. It didn’t put me in labor…..and really didn’t help me poop.
