Dad crossing boundaries

Please tell me im not over reacting here. I posted something a bit political on my fb that my dad disagreed with (thats fine, we can disagree and I still love him) it had NOTHING to do with children/ him. My dad has always been very borderline verbally abusive to me. He disagrees with me gentle parenting 100% and says im going to mess my son up. My son is SO smart, so gentle and Im not a permissive parent, I still discipline (without hitting, yelling, degrading) and he is VERY upset about that.

ANYWAYS, yesterday he texted me that he doesn’t like the person im becoming because I disagree with him. He texted me full on cursing and yelling at me. My mom invited me over to their house today and I told her no because of how im spoken to by him. My dad things I use keeping my baby from their house is manipulative, which isnt my intention but I won’t someone constantly yell at me and degrade me. He is posting stuff making fun of gentle parenting allll the time just to get at me.

My husband helped him with a job one day and all he did was talk to my husband about how im messing up as a parent because I don’t yell at my NOT EVEN 2 YEAR OLD.

Am I over reacting?
