Beware of FRER

We recently lost a baby in May at 18+4, and I’ve been waiting for my first postpartum period. I’ve gotten visible positives on ONLY First Response Early Result tests this past week, all within the timeframe, and all tests used were between 4 different boxes of tests. Clearly, we were very excited. I went in for a blood test yesterday, and my HCG levels were at 2.39mIU/mL, indicating a negative result for pregnancy. I even tested with one today after my blood test results, and lo and behold, it was positive. Something fishy is going on. I have contacted the company and received a refund, but I will never be buying them again after this experience.
